The Department of Bilateral Economic Relations with European and non European countries proposes, prepares and implements economic cooperation; proposes and concludes agreements on economic and trade cooperation, as well as other agreements within the competence of the Ministry; proposes and concludes free trade agreements with the neighbouring countries and the countries within the region; manages the activities of joint committees on economic and trade cooperation;
coordinates and manages activities of joint committees for bilateral cooperation with the CEFTA member countries; reviews and follows up the effects of the concluded agreements with these countries, proposes corresponding measures for promotion of bilateral and multilateral economic and trade relations with these countries,
follows up the development of economic cooperation with these countries , and in particularly the development of trade exchange and correspondingly proposes measures for cooperation development with European and non European countries, in particularly the exports increase, including the implementation of the measures of export promotion and development; harmonizes and coordinates the activities with other central government bodies and institutions with respect to economic cooperation with these countries; carries out other activities within its scope. |
