The Department of EU Aid Schemes and Projects Management in the Area of Labour and Social Security carries out the activities related to social issues and equal opportunities, availing of and participation in pre-accession projects within the PHAARE Programme, equality of gender, combating discrimination and Community measures in the area of employment, carries out important activities, providing for participation of the Republic of Croatia in the EU pre-accession structural funds, harmonizing of Croatian legislation with the EU acquis communautaire, as well as efficient operation of competent institutions, and other activities specified by the Minister.
