The Legal Department carries out professional review of all legal documents referring to commodity reserves operations; carries out legal harmonization of contractual and other relations,

establishes cooperation with the State Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Croatia in the process of protection of interests of the Directorate in courts procedures, organizes activities related to property insurance of the Directorate, arranges commodity reserves meetings;

organizes and carries out the duties of mail registry and distribution office, maintains records for the Directorate, provides secretarial services, services of mail receipt and delivery, transcription and multiplication; provides other legal and administrative services.
